Hi I’m Alyssa, a country girl with a love for endless horizons and majestic mountains. I’m happily married to my best friend, and together we have three daughters, one Yorkie-poo and one Golden-doodle. I was raised in the small town of Liberty, Utah, where I was the youngest of three siblings. I grew up loving wide open spaces and getting dusty hiking or biking along any summit.

I graduated from Weber State University with a B.A. in Public Relations and Advertising. Shortly after, I started my career as a content writer, but my passion for words only grew following the death of my first husband and four-year-old daughter. I started blogging about my experience with this devastating loss using afterthevictory.com, a blog that Ryan began before his passing. 

Remarkably, and through the inspiration of God, my blog touched hearts all over the world, and as a result, I began accepting invitations from readers to speak throughout various parts of Northern Utah, Wyoming, and Idaho. As I continued sharing my story, I discovered that I also have a love for public speaking. 

Now, with my husband, DC, we are changing the world one message at a time. Together we share our unique stories using online content, music, and the spoken word. By sharing our beliefs, we hope to empower others to recognize their divinity and glorious potential.

Dean Craig (DC) has rhythm running through his veins, and his journey within the music industry began at a young age. He is professionally trained on the drums but also enjoys playing the piano and guitar. DC graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, with a Masters Certificate in songwriting. 

His innate ability to transform an ordinary tempo into a captivating and unforgettable song is unreal. Although he enjoys writing Christian rock/pop songs, he also excels in many other genres. His music is known to inspire and encourage others to look to God for strength. 

Because of DC’s specialized talent, it seemed only fitting to publish After the Victory with its own original song. This single depicts how enduring faith in God, and hope in Christ, propel us toward a brighter future. 

Another current single, Rise Up Against The Darknessⓒ, also portrays how we can overcome the trials and temptations of the world and reach for the light. 

DC is a devoted husband and father of three daughters and loves being a “girl dad.” In his spare time, he enjoys riding his motorcycle and OneWheel. DC is passionate about the human mind and understanding how to master your thoughts and has studied this field for many years.
